I've packed my stuff as well. I did notice that DeviantArt is becoming more of a habit than anything else but I was too lazy to change things. Now that many of my favourite artists here left and another turned out to be an art stealing imposter I decided that I've got only very few things holding me here. This place seemed like a 'gallery' to me... with how things stand now I see it more like a 'playground & pornstorage for everybody'. Reason to that are those awesome kickass features like the Llamas, Muro and dA ignoring own policies regarding obvious, simple porn content.

Funnily enough I got a DD yesterday on an older image of mine which amused me alot because of 'high grade' discussions with idiots that once in a decade take their time to comment someone's work...based on one 'particular' emotion rather than logical critism. It's was the perfect farewell gift which showed me that I'm taking the right path by leaving this place.

If you have some time and are interested I highly recommend reading the comments on one of Levi's (stateless) photographs. He as well left dA yesterday and has left this image because the conversations that took place there 'depict both the worst and best aspects of deviantArt'. Here's the link: [link]

As for me I did it similar to him. I won't delete the account but leave only my two journal skins as people seem to appreciate them... as well my favorites for those wanting to browse through them. I will miss the PersonalReality group but it's also present on flickr which I hope will grow bigger there soon.
